The essence of hydroculture is that the growing medium is not the soil, but the nutrients are picked up directly from the water. The roots of the plants are surrounded by hydrogranules, the capillaries of which absorb the water and gradually release it to ensure the plant’s water supply.<\/p>\n

The grain size of the hydrogranule also ensures that roots are ventilated and oxygen is obtained.
