This slow growing beauty from East Africa, with its bright leaves, can be used to decorate interiors in almost any style. Zamioculcas zamiifolia is belonging to the family of cycas which is one of the least demanding potplant family.
Bright location with no direct sunlight and room temperature is ideal for healthy development. This plant tolerates dry air. Its gum and stem serve as a water storage, so it is sufficient to water when the soil is completely dry. Too much watering and draught should be avoided. Careful care, however, is sustained by regular and lasting flowering of older plants.
Harmful pests are not known.
