Ficus cyathistipula is native to tropical areas of Africa, so it is also called African fig tree. It grows relatively fast where it feels good. It develops into a small tree or a bush. With pruning it can be beautifully shaped.
Warm places preferred
Bright and warm place is the best for this ficus. The temperature should not drop below 18 ° C and ficus cyantistipula does not like sudden temperature changes. As with all figs, leave the soil slightly dry between two irrigation. Especially in dark, winter months, beware of over watering.
